In Yorubaland it is taboo for a man to sleep in a woman’s house

Lere Olayinka, a former assistant to former Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose, has invaded the online conversation sparked by reports that actress Funke Akindele and her husband, JJC Skillz, were splitting up.

JJC Skillz announcing their divorce had said that Funke had asked him to leave her home because they were unable to resolve their marital crisis.

In response, Lere stated that it is taboo in Yorubaland for a man to sleep in a woman’s house. He also said that if a man dies in a woman’s house, the corpse should be moved outside through the window.

Lere wrote;
