With Spotify you will find Facebook friends and follow them once you’ve linked your accounts. When you follow friends on Spotify, a live feed of their activity will appear on the right side of the Spotify desktop user interface. What they’re listening to is displayed as long as they haven’t arrived yet private session. Finding friends and following them is usually the first thing Facebook users do when they start using Spotify.

To find friends in Spotify mobile app, select Settings > View profile. Press (Android) or (iOS). Then press Find friends. Connect your Facebook account to Spotify to see a list of friends who also use Spotify. You can tap the add friend knob next to a specific person or press FOLLOW EVERYTHING to follow everyone in the list.

Finding Facebook friends in the Spotify app for Android and iOS takes a little longer than on the desktop app. However, it is still quite possible.
Yes, but you do need to know their Spotify username. If you know your friend’s Spotify username, type spotify:user:their username in the search field on the desktop or mobile app. This will display their user profile and allow you to follow them that way.
The first thing to do is open the Spotify mobile app on your phone. Of the House screen, select the gear icon in the top right corner to open Settings.

From here, if you already have your Facebook account connected to Spotify, you should see a list of friends who also use Spotify. You can tap the add friend button next to a specific person or press FOLLOW EVERYTHING to follow all the people in the list.
If you can’t see a playlist created by your friend, please contact them! Maybe they made that playlist private or hidden from you. If you want to collaborate on a playlist they’ve started, you can ask them to make the playlist collaborative. you can also use the Spotify blend feature to create custom “mixed” playlists with friends.
Find and follow friends on Spotify (desktop)
To find your Facebook friends on the Spotify desktop app, open the Spotify desktop app. This will not work on the Spotify web player.

Make sure your Facebook account is connected to Spotify. Once this is done, click on the Add friends knob in the Friend activity bar on the right side of the interface.
If you’ve connected Facebook to Spotify, a list of friends who also use Spotify will appear. Click on the add friend knob next to everyone to follow that Facebook friend. Finally, don’t forget that you can too block Spotify friends when your relationships sour.
Ask your friend to send you a link to one of their playlists. When you open it, their username will be displayed below the playlist title. Click on their username to go to their user profile where you can follow them.
