Mom cleverly tells how she always remembers where she parked her car while shopping… but is it too much trouble?

A mom is divided over the way she always remembers where she parked when she’s out shopping.

Professional organizer Anita Birges took to her Mise en Place Instagram page to explain the hack, writing, “How many times have you lost your car in one of those huge mall parking garages?”

She revealed that she often lost her own car, until she started using her “life-changing parking lot hack”.

“It’s so easy and you just need to take three small pictures,” she said in the video.

First, take a picture of the pylon or bollard closest to your car.

Then take a photo of the lane you parked in.

Third, take a picture of the escalator or elevator level.

“Works every time,” she captioned the video.

“Total game changer for parking garages.”

While some people thought Anita’s hack was a waste of time, others admitted they had been doing it for years.

“I’m doing this!” one person wrote in the comments section of the video.

“I also take a 4th picture of my license plate. I can never remember what it is like when I go to pay for parking.”

“I do the same thing every time I go to the mall or I’d be lost,” added another.

“I do this – learned it the hard way,” commented someone else.

“I’ve been doing this for years, including the rego song … and such a good idea,” read another comment.

But others weren’t too impressed with the hack.

“Never,” someone wrote.

“It’s not that hard. Just see what level you are at or see what store is at the door you enter.”

“You can also use the Google Maps app if you need to mark your parking spot,” added another.

While another commented, “I just take a picture of my car and the one on either side in case they scrape my car as they leave.”
