I have tested several other cases. Here are a few more I didn’t like as much as like the one above. Suitcases are also very personal accessories; you might find one that i don’t like. That’s what this mix is for.
Gear4 Copenhagen case for $40† I really like how this case looks. It has a beautifully textured back, is made with 52 percent renewable resources, and is made in part from recycled plastic. It’s slim and has raised lips, but I wish there was a bit of a bumper over the camera module. It feels exposed. You can also get it for the S22 Ultra. I also like Gear4’s Denali case, although the grooves on the back can attract a lot of dust.
OtterBox Commuter Series Antimicrobial Case for $40† This double layer case has a removable soft inner cover and a hard outer shell to absorb drops and protect your phone. The buttons are clickable, the charging port is covered and is made from 35 percent recycled materials. It’s like a slightly lesser version of the OtterBox Defender we recommend above. Definitely go for one of the colorful options. It is also available for the S22 Ultra and S22+.
UAG Civilian Series for $40† UAG found me a ton of its S22 cases, and most of them are…ugly (sorry). If you want to cover your expensive and beautiful phone, try to make the case look nice! Of the few that looked good (including the Outback above), the Civilian feels durable and protective, with click buttons and raised bezels around the screen. It is also available for the S22 Ultra and S22+.
Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear Case for $34† Do you just want a clear case with no frills? This Speck will do the trick. The buttons aren’t the clickiest, but the bumper is stiff and feels solid. Just know that there isn’t much protection for the lenses. You can also get it for the S22 Ultra and S22+.
