The model revealed a shocking discovery she made in the car after not driving for three weeks.
31-year-old Jess Davis, who co-founded the Mr Potato restaurant chain with partner Tyson Hoffman in 2018, visited her TikTok page to share her amazing discoveries.
In a video she shared with her followers on social networking sites, Davis said:
“I hadn’t driven the car for three weeks, but when I went to open it today, we found this.
“It’s f *** ed.”
She then warned those who were looking to tighten the straps for what she was trying to reveal.
Based in Sydney, Australia, Davis opened the car door and showed mold covering the steering wheel, gearsticks and Audi seats.
“I grow rainforests in my car, and I don’t even know what to do,” she said.
Davis spoke to news.com.au and revealed that it was Tyson who found the car in that state.
“He came upstairs and said,’Hey, Babe, something really weird is happening in your car-come to see.’
“At first I thought I found animals and snakes inside, but I was even more shocked to see what actually happened,” she said.
“Once we discovered what had happened, Tyson-God congratulates him-was able to put on a face mask, clean the mold well and bring it in detail.
“Now it’s been thoroughly cleaned. It still smells, so I think you need a strong mold killer to get the job done.”
She jokingly added whether it was doing it or getting a new car.
“We recently moved from Adelaide to Sydney to expand Mr. Potato,” she said.
“The problem must have been the humid weather and the humidity trapped inside.”
David said he was only using one car when he was out, as the couple moved out of the house to work.
She added that she had never heard of this happening, but now she knows it is a common occurrence all over the world.
Davis also revealed that she was shocked by the reaction she received to the video.
“When I first signed up for TikTok, I wanted to share my business journey with Mr. Potato.
“It’s too crazy not to share”
“But when I had a problem with my car, I thought it was too crazy not to share it with the world.”
Commentators also had the opportunity to share their experiences on similar issues.
“I saw full mushroom cultivation in my womb in Darwin,” said one.
Another post: “It happened to a friend’s car! It was obscured for months, it turned out to be completely full of growing mold all over the interior.”
Third addition: “This happened to one of my cars, and I’m not sure what to do about it either.
“I thought about calling a tow truck and getting rid of it.”
One commentator said he was hoping the door would open and was full of spiders.
According to the Supercheap Auto website, car mold is extremely dangerous and can cause respiratory problems.
“It is virtually ubiquitous, both indoors and outdoors, and can grow in moist or moist areas that lack adequate ventilation,” the website warned.
“If you find mold in your car, it’s an indication that you’re over-accumulating moisture. Most likely it’s because the seals around the doors and windows are leaking. “
Often a long and long cleaning process is required to remove it.
