Rihanna sent fans on a spin when she made a surprise public appearance at Wireless Festival today to support her friend A$AP Rocky.
The Diamonds singer has been keeping quiet lately after giving birth to her first child with the rapper last month.
She has not yet shared her son’s name or photo on social media and has rarely been seen in public since.
However, the 34-year-old made sure to sit in the crowd on the first day of the bash as her beau delighted festival-goers at Crystal Palace.
In photos circulating on social media, she looked effortlessly stylish as always, wearing an oversized bomber jacket and black pants.
She wore chunky jewelry accessories as she casually walked past screaming fans who were thrilled to catch a glimpse.
Of course, the low-key pop-up didn’t go completely unnoticed, and Rihanna was quickly trending on social media.
“RIHANNA IS WIRELESS AND I’M NOT THAT YOU’RE CRAZYYY,” an enraged.
“Rihanna isn’t even going to perform on Wireless, but she already stole the whole show! HER POWER >>>,” another joked.
“I’m thrilled that Rihanna stopped by to support ASAP Rocky at #WirelessFestival! I just knew I would see her in the crowd,” journalist Nola Ojomu wrote.
One Twitter user celebrated: ‘Soooo Rihanna was at Wireless??!!!! The best day ever.’
As one follower predicted, “Only Rihanna could trend on Twitter about every act that’s performing at Wireless today just because she showed up to support her husband.
“When she makes music again, it’ll all be over for everyone.”
Fingers crossed that we won’t have to wait long for that to come out…
Chris Brown and Lil Uzi Vert were also among the names taking the stage on Friday, with J Cole, Playboi Carti, Tyler, The Creator, Little Simz and Ari Lennox performing all weekend.
Rihanna and A$AP — real name Rakim Mayers — started a family together in May, but have remained fiercely private about the newborn.
The new dad recently offered insight into the things he hoped to pass on to his children, explaining that he hoped to create an “open-minded” family.
“I will always remind my children never to lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what,” he told Dazed and Confused.
I actually like watching cartoons – I’ve seen Teletubbies, Blue’s Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba, Peppa Pig and Baby Shark.
‘I hope to raise open-minded children. No people who discriminate. And I’m not trying to describe a saint, but realistically I just want a cool kid with cool parents.
‘Things like diversity and versatility are important and are embedded in the household.’
