earne Cotton has been holding the hearts of the UK for years. From her early days presenting on Radio 1 to her 10-year service on Celebrity Juice, she has spread joy across the country throughout her career.

In Happy Place, the Sunday Times’ best-selling author discusses life, loss and everything in between with a series of incredible people, in search of what happiness means to them. From actor Minnie Driver, whose films include Good Will Hunting and The Phantom of the Opera, to writer Björn Natthiko Lindeblad, who lived in Thailand’s jungle as a forest monk for 17 years, the diverse guests mean there is a episode that will interest everyone.

Because Cotton previously designed children’s clothing for Mini Club, this is not the first time Cotton has been in vogue. The presenter was the perfect match for responsible women’s clothing label Nobody’s Child, whose mission is to make women’s fashion more sustainable and affordable.

Her summer collection complements her distinctive eclectic style, including sleek florals, slinky strips and retro minis, all in a cheerful color palette. Our hero pieces are the silky pink slip and the white embroidery anglaise midi, both of which can be paired with a pair of training shoes or spiked with a pair of heels.

We chatted with Fearne to talk about the collection and find out some of her favorite things.

What are you doing at the moment?

Work on many Happy Place projects that are very exciting. The weekly podcast is a pleasure to create, the Happy Place festivals this summer are all ready to go, we also have a few more books on Happy Place books this year as well as hosting my 90s radio program sounds on Radio 2, and working on a new book I’ll be coming out this fall.

How was the process of collaborating with Nobody’s Child for this collection?

Really fun everywhere. I was already a big fan of the brand and love that they create responsible fashion. We have marked similar values that also really help.

How was the collection affected by Happy Place?

These are clothes that make you feel happy. I want to feel happy when I put on an outfit and I think all these dresses and jumpsuits do exactly that.

How would you describe your style?

Eclectic. I have never joined one trend or really followed what is going on in the fashion world. I am naturally influenced by colors and trends that are out there, but at the age of 40 I know what shapes, styles and prints I like. I think fashion should always be fun, so I wear a lot of color and print.

What is your favorite piece from the collection?

I think the Vienna Mini dress is my favorite as I love the colors and shape. Perfect for a summer day.

What is the one garment without which you could not live?

Trainers. I live in them. I love wearing it with jeans and dresses. I always rush with the kids or from work to work, so I want to be comfortable.

What’s your go-to look this summer?

A dress and coaches. Perfect for a day at work, but also to hang out with friends.

How do you treat yourself?

By trying to give myself time out. I am actively looking for moments where I can slow down and take time. A nice quiet walk on my own or a moment to read a good book. My work is very social, so I like moments of loneliness.
