SHOPPERS are rushing to Boots to snap up an “absolute bargain” Jean Paul Gaultier perfume for just £40 – instead of the usual £120.
Bargain hunter Adam came across the Scandal eau de toilette in a sale at a Gloucestershire Boots branch.
He said the 200ml refill bottle would normally have cost him £120 but it was on sale for a third of the price.
Adam said: “Definitely a bargain in Boots today. Had plenty of other brands too.”
His find impressed other members of the Facebook group “Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK”.
Priscilla said: “Brilliant find!”
Dru said: “I like a bit of Scandal.”
Joanne said: “I don't know where people get these bargains; mine never has anything.”
The same 200ml Scandal refill bottle costs £119 Jean-Paul Gaultier website.
Online perfume and cosmetics store All Beauty is selling the same product for £89.95.
Boots online retailer charges £112 for a 150ml bottle of the men's perfume.
The product list reads: “With muscular elegance and boxing gloves on, Scandal hits hard with an energetic and addictive eau de toilette.
“Awarded with victories, this king of the ring seduces his fans with virility.
“It contrasts with a sensual woody amber scent in a knockout refillable bottle.
“The contrasting addiction of a woody amber, which redefines caramel, is in harmony with the tonka bean.
“This atypical note blends with clary sage and vetiver in an extravagant way that surprises the senses.
“Scandal Pour Homme is extremely addictive and the sensual blue-gray juice takes all the victories.
“A powerful fragrance for men.”
