Omotayo Sanyaolu, the senior special assistant for tertiary education, youth and student affairs of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has been confirmed dead.
The former youth leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos state died in a car accident on Friday, July 29.
The accident happened in the early morning of Friday around Army Cantonment, Maryland, Ikeja.
dr. Femi Oke-Osanyantolu confirmed the incident in a statement and said the deceased’s vehicle had been rammed into an ATM around the cantonment.
Osanyantolu said;
Upon arrival at the scene, a black Toyota Camry with registration number LAGH 32 was discovered while at top speed rambling into the Keystone Bank ATM near the Army Cantonment, Ikeja.
“Unfortunately, an adult man, Sanyanolu, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, died in the collision and his remains were immediately bagged upon the arrival of emergency services.
“These have been handed over to the on-duty subdistrict court judge (Officer Musa)
“The affected vehicle was recovered to a parking lot using LASEMA’s light tow vehicle.”
