The allegedly leaked information suggests significant changes to the next AirPods Pro 2 with health features and improved FindMy support.
according to 52 Audio, AirPods Pro 2 features an updated H1 processor, health features such as heart rate detection, and a weird new microphone inside the charging case. The information appears to come from an internal source and the images it contains are rendered based on the information at hand.
They call the new processor the H1 chip. This is already on the AirPods Pro. It’s not clear whether Apple calls it H1 or H2, but it’s a more powerful System in Package chip.
Alleged new features include heart rate detection, hearing aid functionality, and improved audio. Instead of Lightning, the charging case has USB-C, a speaker for Find My, and a microphone for hearing aid function.
The design of the shared image does not appear to have changed, but the leak suggests that all changes are internal. Heart rate sensors may also be able to collect temperature data, but that has not been confirmed.
The right side of the MagSafe charging case may have a microphone for surrounding audio collectors and hearing aids. The audio collected in the case is sent to the earphones for processing and expansion and is thought to be used as a microphone to speak when talking to a user with deafness.
The speaker at the bottom of the charging case can make a “find” sound. It’s similar to AirTag and helps users find lost cases that are out of sight.
These new details 52audio It seems to support design details and previous health-related rumors, but the source doesn’t have a long history with Apple leaks. The publication previously leaked an image of the AirPods 3, but this proved to be accurate, so it’s time to see if this latest leak also applies.
Earlier rumors suggest renewal of health and a more radical redesign without stems. If Apple plans to release a new AirPods Pro in the fall, the design and feature set is in place and the leak could be more accurate.
