All iPhone 15 devices have a Dynamic Island, Pros have a titanium frame

The latest iPhone 15 leak gives us an insight into their displays. A trio of leaked glass panels reveal that the entire iPhone 15 range will feature a Dynamic Island. The three pieces below are said to be of the iPhone 15 on the left, the iPhone 15 Pro in the middle, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max on the right.

The entire lineup is rumored to feature thinner 1.5mm uniform bezels across the entire screen.

While the Vanilla 15 and 15 Plus get the new Dynamic Island, they keep the standard 60Hz refresh rate and lack the Always-on Display of the Pro models. Another differentiator will be the chipset, as last year the Pro models are bumped to the A17 Bionic, while the regular models get the 2022 A16 Bionic.

The other leak shows us CAD renderings of the iPhone 15 Pro. The new Pro models will premiere with titanium frames instead of stainless steel, making them more durable, but more importantly, lighter. The other key feature is the switch to solid-state buttons. They have 3D Touch haptic feedback, courtesy of multiple Taptic Engine motors underneath, to indicate they’ve been pressed successfully.

Even the mute switch becomes a button – press once for Silent and again to enable sound.

The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus retain their normal buttons.
