Alpaca Annie rejected by her mother thinks she is a DOG

An alpaca thinks she’s a dog and even drives around in a Vauxhall station wagon bought especially for her.

Spoiled two-year-old Annie was rejected by her mother and had to be bottle-fed every two hours by owner Dannie Burns, of Stirling, Scotlandwho runs an alpaca farm.

The father of three took her everywhere as Annie needed a strict feeding routine.

The alpaca lived in the house with three dogs and two cats – but caused too much trouble and now sleeps on the porch.

Annie is currently expecting her own baby and Dannie isn’t sure how she will get to motherhood as she doesn’t mix with the herd of 75 alpacas that roam the fields.

She prefers to socialize with the three Labradoodle dogs and believes she is one.

Annie has been kicked out of the house for chewing through cables, looting profiteroles at Christmas and can even open doors with her mouth.

But she loves to relax during car rides in the back of the Opel Zafira she bought to house her – which Dannie says will go to scrap instead of being resold.

Grandfather of four Dannie said, ‘Annie was rejected by her mother. She was with us for six months and was bottle fed every two hours.

‘She ate everything – toy soldiers, ribbons, bits of plastic. She swallows them – she’s a nightmare. She now sleeps on the porch.
