Amazfit launched the GTS 4 Mini – an ultra-lightweight thin smartwatch with 120 sports tracking modes and a promising battery life. The first wearables market is India, where sales begin on Saturday, July 16.
Amazfit has equipped the GTS 4 Mini with a 1.65-inch AMOLED display with curved edges on all 4 sides, bringing the screen-to-body ratio to 70%. The wearable is also rated at 5ATM for water resistance and has sensors on the back for monitoring heart rate, SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation) and sleep patterns.
The watch can automatically detect seven sports and remind you to activate the training mode. It also supports the top five global positioning systems for accurate outdoor tracking.
The GTS4 Mini comes with a 270 mAh battery that lasts up to 15 days on a single charge or up to 45 days in battery saver mode, but that’s with the AOD turned off. Speaking of Always-On Display, a variety of watch faces come with a matching AOD design.
The wearable has a silicone strap that comes in a variety of colors – Midnight Black, Flamingo Pink, Mint Blue and Moonlight White to make the smartwatch “a fashion statement that goes with all outfits”.
The GTS 4 Mini costs INR 6,999 (about $87), but that price does not include the first day of sale. After that, it changes to INR 7,999 ($100), which is still a pretty good deal for a new Amazfit wearable.
