The rapist beat and trapped a vulnerable woman in a “very scary violence campaign.”
27-year-old Michael Morgan hit the victim in a chair in his early twenties, threw a cough syrup at her, and threatened to take her to the Epping Forest and kill her.
Then he wrapped her several times. If she said she didn’t agree with sex, she was afraid of the effects.
As of April 2021, the pair were staying at hotels in Chiswick and Hammersmith in West London.
Morgan also slapped her, beat her, threw her on the floor, unlocked her car, and banned her from leaving during a violent campaign.
She told a friend when she warned the police for fear of her life.
However, Morgan then tried to hunt her down, broke into the beauty salon she visited frequently, and verbally abused and threatened the staff.
One worker quit her forever because he was afraid to return.
Police arrested him in Harringay, North London, in May 2021 and found his victims detained against her will and suffering very much.
He admits controlled / forced behavior, rape, sexual assault, actual physical harm, kidnapping, and imprisonment.
He was imprisoned for 18 and a half years in a wood-green crown coat.
Judge Kalyani Kaul QC said Maughan was particularly dangerous when it came to sexual relations with women.
She added that it was “the most horrifying treatment campaign many may have seen in this court.”
Sharon Brooks, a police officer at the Metropolitan Police Department, said:
“What he passed through to the young victims is totally horrifying. It’s something that no one has to endure.
“I know Morgan spends a lot of time behind the bar, so I hope she can move on to the next chapter in her life.”
