Andrew Brown Appointed CEO of Universally Speaking

Universally Speaking, an end-to-end gaming service provider, has announced it has appointed Andrew Brown as its CEO. Vicki Peggs, the company’s founder, will remain with the company as a non-executive director and advisor to the board of directors.

Brown was previously CMO of Keyword Studios and has held various positions at Activision. He said in a statement: “I am honored to join Universally Speaking in the role of CEO. The expertise, passion and drive I have already seen from the workforce across our company is inspiring. I am delighted to working with our talented team to continue the successes of the past and build paths for further growth in the future.”

Universally Speaking provides QA and localization services for game publishers. It works with companies such as Netmarble, Netease, Meta, Sumo, Tencent, Bandai Namco EU/US and 2K, among others. The company announced last May that it had opened a new studio in Liverpool.

Peggs added: “As the founder of Universally Speaking 18 years ago, I couldn’t imagine the amazing journey the company would take. I have grown from a small business to a company of hundreds of people in more than 50 countries and I am humbled to be a part of that success.
