AJ tries to bounce back after two crushing defeats against Oleksandr Usyk.

Ahead of his rematch with the Ukrainian in August, the 33-year-old opted to enlist Robert Garcia as his coach.

Despite looking much more aggressive than in his first loss, Joshua chose it replaces the famous Garcia after that fight.

Hearn confirmed this week that the boxer has chosen a new man to run his training camp, which begins next week in America.

However, he has now revealed the reasons why the 2012 Olympic gold medalist is heading to the United States to prepare for his comeback.

Keep tight-lipped about the identity of trainer and opponent, hear told The DAZN boxing show: “April 1 is the target date in London. I have a call (today) to go over the final list of opponents, the final bits and pieces around the date. We’re almost done. He’s excited.

“I’m happy with the trainer. I’m happy with everyone who is making AJ feel comfortable, motivated and excited, and I think this is going to be a nice break.

“The problem is that because he’s in the UK, he can’t breathe. When he goes to America, people still know who he is, but it’s just a different world.

“Can you imagine where Anthony Joshua, where he’s going to train, can rent a house or stay in a hotel, go for a walk and sit down in a coffee shop and have a little breakfast and a little coffee? with some friends, and yes, someone might come and say, ‘AJ, man, how are you?’ But literally that is an impossibility (in the UK).

“He can go to the mall and stroll around and walk into Foot Locker and just act normal. Like, living a normal life that people should be able to do. It’s just a pressure cooker.”

Hearn added: “Because he is that man, because he is that ambassador and role model, he will never turn down a photo or a conversation.

“You don’t realize how much of that you’re going to exhaust if you do two or three sessions a day.

“I think it will be really good for him. I really feel like you’re going to see a revived Anthony Joshua in April and I can’t wait to see him again.
