Apple iPhone 15 may resemble the iPhone 14 to some extent

According to a recent report, the iPhone ranges for 2022 and 2023 may share different features. As Apple gears up to introduce its iPhone 14 series later this year, we’ve already covered the rumors of the iPhone 15 hitting the market next year. Not only that according to the most recent report, which comes from Omdia (via PhoneArena), the iPhone 15 series will have similar display specs to the upcoming iPhone 14 series.

More about iPhone 15

Unbeknownst to some, the iPhone 14 Pro series is expected to eventually do away with the pronounced notch on the front in favor of two cutouts for the Face ID sensors and the selfie camera. And it looks like the front design of the iPhone 15 series will also be similar. Notably, unlike the iPhone 14 series, this one also offers a base model at a lower price. The Cupertino-based company is reportedly planning to launch its iPhones with identical screen sizes in the next two years, according to this claim.

It’s interesting to note that the Omdia analysis also noted that Apple is lagging behind competing smartphone manufacturers in Face ID and under-screen cameras. These features are likely to launch around the iPhone 16 series. Keep in mind that the iPhone 15 won’t hit the market for quite some time yet, so for now, take this report with a grain of salt.

As a reminder, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models are expected to have 6.1-inch screens, while the iPhone 14 Pro variants are expected to have 6.7-inch screens. In addition, the price of the iPhone 14 series will vary. The price of Apple’s products remained the same as the iPhone 12 series when the iPhone 13 series was announced last year.
