Police are still looking for Cliff Wharerau, 45, and say the public should call 111 if they see him.
police is still looking for a man accused of shooting at a police car and kidnap a man in Northland in October 2020.
Cliff Charles Wharerau, 45, has been wanted by police for at least a fortnight.
He and two other men are accused of shooting at a police officer near Kerikerihit her windshield in an incident who left her shocked but not physically injured.
They are also charged with kidnapping a man, blindfolding and… force him in the trunk of his own car.

Wharerau and his two co-defendants were… ready for a trial in the Supreme Court in Whangārei on July 25, jointly charged with seven charges related to the incidents.
He was arrested in December 2020 and was on electronically verified bail pending trial.
On July 1 police appeal registered to help find Wharerau, wanted under multiple arrests.
He is known to visit Northland, Auckland and Te Awamutu, but police sought information from across the country to find him, said Detective Senior Sergeant Kevan Verry of the Northland Criminal Investigation Branch.
He is described as 1.74m tall [5ft 8] with prominent tattoos on his left hand, arm and shoulder.
When he was arrested, police said Wharerau was a member of the rebel gang.
On Thursday, police continued to call on information about his whereabouts.
“We would like to remind the public that this man is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached – if you see Wharerau, call 111 immediately,” a police spokesman said.
