rsenal are back in pre-season action during the early hours of Sunday morning when they meet Everton in Baltimore.
Mikel Arteta has now had a few weeks to work with a £45m signing gabriel jesus and will be looking for the Brazilian to add to the two goals he scored in their first friendly, a 5-3 win over German second-tier team Nurnberg.
Obviously results aren’t the most important thing at this stage, but Arteta will need his front line to at least show signs of clicking and help Bukayo Saka’s return.
Any bad start to the coming season would be happy to reiterate the disappointment of the top four dropping out.
