Cunning ‘bank robber’ walks out carrying suitcases containing £150,000 after telling Santander staff he was a G4S security guard… despite no collection planned and he was NOT wearing the correct uniform

  • A crook impersonated a G4S security guard to trick bank staff into handing over cash
  • The criminal walked away with chests containing a total of £150,000
  • He committed the crime at Santander’s branch in Brixton, South London

A crook posed as a G4S security guard to trick bank staff into handing over chests containing £150,000.

The criminal sauntered into a Santander branch in Brixton in a uniform outfitted with both a helmet and visor, although sources claimed it wasn’t even a G4S uniform.

The man reportedly showed false ID and took two boxes at a time, in violation of regulations.

“It’s called Noah’s Ark Orbit – because the coffers went out two by two,” a source told The sun

Another source said questions should be asked as they claimed the uniform was not even a G4S uniform.

The criminal may have had a refugee driver waiting to rush him away from the South London crime scene.

Staff at the Santander branch were only concerned that it was a scammer when the crook did not return to sign for the six boxes of £25,000 each.

While the cash boxes have coded dyes that would soak the notes if someone accessed them without permission, the criminal may have had some help from within to get past this obstacle.

Police have questioned the staff and reviewed CCTV footage of the suspect. Santander is working with the police on the case.
