Bao (often called “bao buns” here, although redundantly, since “bao” is loosely translated as “bun”) is simple in nature: here it is usually the term given to a soft, fluffy and folded steamed bread that contains meat, fish or vegetables, but is also often used to describe closed, filled sandwiches.
