Ben Affleck can think twice next time his 10-year-old son Samuel asks to get behind the wheel of a very, very expensive car, after he managed to get back in another very, very expensive car while recently visiting a car dealership.
The actor (49) and his fiancée, Jennifer Lopez (52), took Ben’s son with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner (50), Samuel, when they went shopping at the 777 Exotics dealership in Los Angeles, with young Samuel who dreams a lot and jumps into the driver’s seat.
Dad Ben was in the hot seat of the Lamborghini Urus (which rents at $ 1,475 (£ 1,201) a day) before giving his son a turn in front, with Jennifer leaping in the back seat.
But barely moments after her wobbly wedge lifted off the ground, the yellow luxury car swung backwards and into the personal space of a parked BMW.
Footage obtained by DailyMail.com showed Ben leaning on the side of the car, which was still running his engine, as a loud bang could be heard with the car looking backwards.
The Oscar winner immediately leaned into the Lambo before stepping to the back of the car to see if it made any contact with the BMW, while Samuel also got out of the car and watched the scene.
When he jumped back into the driver’s seat, Ben looked pretty cold about the potential mudguard bend and moved the car forward – where it became clear that there was no obvious damage to the BMW.
Representatives for the star confirmed nothing was damaged and all parties involved were in order, while a 777 Exotics employee added “there was no accident.”
Photos taken during their visit show Ben – who also has Violet (16) and Seraphina (13) with ex-wife Jennifer – hugging his son for a hug, while JLo stays on her phone.
The trio were seen smiling as they attended the car park, with Jen in a yellow summer dress and sky-high wedges, with a small pouch, holding hands with a smiling Samuel as they walked along.
Ben, dressed in a sweatshirt and pants, was seen chatting intensely with an employee of the car dealership, who has since said they would like the Batman actor again.
They spoke to the New York Post and explained: ‘When [Samuel] climbed into the car, it jerked back and forth. We have a small lot and the cars are close. ‘
“Everyone was right!” I added. “They looked happy and kept scrolling. ‘The dealer will be happy to welcome the stars back.
‘Affleck loves cars. We hope they come in again. ‘
