  • They face fines because state law prohibits minors under 14 from driving a jet ski
  • The Beckham Clan – Minus Brooklyn – Enjoyed Time on Their Yacht ‘Seven’

Harper Beckham splashed through the waves on a jet ski, clearly enjoying her luxury Florida vacation.

But her joyride could land her parents David and Victoria a fine, or even 12 months in prison, after it was revealed that state laws prohibit anyone under 14 from riding a jet ski.

Harper, who was wearing a black life jacket, was accompanied by an unknown woman who was older than her.

Moments later, the same jet ski with four on board capsized.

A lifeline had to be thrown from the yacht to bring them back from the sea as a concerned David and Victoria watched. Obviously Harper wasn’t at the check at the time.

Last night, a local water conservation agency labeled the couple “reckless” for letting their young daughter drive the jet ski.

A spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said: “It is reckless to knowingly allow an underage child to ride a jet ski on a public waterway.

‘It’s very simple: the law forbids it.

‘Sandbanks are busy with boaters and swimmers, and their safety is our number one priority. If any of our officers saw anything resembling an underage child driving a watercraft, they would be approached, as would their parents or guardians if they were nearby and aware of the activity.”

A source close to the Beckhams said Harper and her siblings had been around boats their entire lives and downplayed the incident.

“The situation was well under control, David and Victoria are very responsible people,” they said.

Last month, Harper was seen with another jet ski on the French Riviera, where the law allows young people to ride the ships.

The Beckhams are now on vacation and living in Florida, where David’s soccer team Inter Miami plays in the American soccer league.

On Friday evening, the family attended the opening of restaurant Gekko, owned by their friend David Grutman, along with their youngest son Cruz, 17.

The Beckhams recently returned to Miami after a wonderful month-long vacation across Europe. They spent the summer aboard a £22 million yacht, stopping in Sardinia, Croatia, Saint Tropez and the Amalfi Coast.

The pair were joined by Harper, Cruz and Cruz’s new girlfriend Tana Holding for the extravaganza, which they captured on Instagram.

During their stop-off in Saint Tropez, Victoria was filmed by her husband releasing the 1997 Spice Girls hit Stop from the group’s album Spiceworld.
