The Whites are planning to bring in a goalkeeper this summer but £11million has been quoted despite Leno out of a contract at the end of next season.
Negotiations between the two clubs continue in the hope of reaching an agreement.
Leno himself would like to transfer to Fulham.
The German stopper’s agent, Joannis Koukoutrigas, confirmed last month that Fulham would like to sign him.
And he also claimed that his client had to be ahead Aaron Ramsdale in the pecking order in the Emirates.
Koukoutrigas told Bild: “Fulham is doing his best to get Bernd.
“Very professional. This also applies to some other clubs and shows his status.”

“But like I said, for me he is number one at Arsenal and that’s why we are relaxed.
“He is a German national goalkeeper, has always performed well at Arsenal and is an absolute team player.
“For me personally, Bernd is also the clear number 1 at Arsenal. With all due respect to the competitors.”
Leno started just four games in the Premier League last season, with Ramsdale now firmly entrenched as… Mikel Artetas No1 between the sticks.
