At one time, the choice of EVs was severely limited, as was their range and, let’s face it, desirability. However, with sales starting to climb (to 10 million globally by the end of 2020) and battery capacity increasing, there has been an explosion of options as auto companies compete for the market leaders in being gasoline-free.
The problem for the consumer is that the choice becomes somewhat overwhelming. Should one opt for electric companies such as Tesla and newcomer Lucid, or opt for proven family motorcycle brands such as Skoda, Volkswagen or BMW? How can you make sure you get what you need in terms of range, speed and wizzy features? And for the right price?
