The plot revolves around six unrelated strangers who are locked in an escape room in exchange for a $10,000 prize. 4. Fear Street Trilogy

This gory, fun, and excellent slasher trilogy is based on RL Stine’s Fear Street series of novels. It is supported by a strong plot, carried by strong actors and delivered in all three films. In Fear Street Part 1, a group of teenage friends uncover the ancient evil responsible for several gruesome murders in their town over three centuries.

In this movie, a small child with super powers is the main character. Unfortunately, such a child crash lands on Earth, but instead of helping humanity, it turns out to be a curse.

6. The lodge

Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala are the directors and writers of this psychological horror thriller film, along with Sergio Casci. The story is about a stepmother who is stranded in a remote lodge with her fiancĂ©’s two children. She encounters unusual happenings with the youth that seem to be related to her history.

7. Conjuring

Ed and Lorraine Warren team up once again to help a family haunted by a dark presence in their home. The Conjuring is one of the greatest horror movies ever made. It has a gripping plot and the fact that it is inspired by true events makes it an even more interesting drama.
