Best parachute bedding: percal vs. satin vs. linen

Parachute launched with his sharp percale bedding, but now the brand also offers bedding made from organic and brushed cotton, linen and satin. Prices range from $59 for the Percale pillowcase set (on sale for $47) to $708 and up for the linen bed bundle (retails for $566 and up).

I'm not sure of the difference between all the Parachutes substances? The brand's percale and satin sheets are both made from 100 percent long-staple Egyptian cotton and meet the Oeko-Tex Standard 100. Hot sleepers, however, will prefer the percale, with a fresh, matte and lightweight finish to keep you cool at night. The silky soft one satin sheets feel supple, while the tight (yet breathable) weave is ideal for keeping cold sleepers warm.

Parachute is naturally antimicrobial linen sheets are made from European flax and are ideal for all types of sleepers all year round, as they are breathable for hot days, but cozy enough for cool nights. The brand brushed cotton also has a buttery soft percale weave that is light and bright, but the material feels warmer and cozy and, according to the brand, is warmer than classic percale, but cooler than satin.

The organic cotton meets the GOTS certification (Global Organic Textile Standard). The brand's down filling is made from European white down (85 percent clusters, 15 percent down and feather fibers) and the down alternative is made from 100 percent hypoallergenic microfibers.

The company offers towels in different fabrics: a plush Turkish cotton that dries quickly, a super soft fabric ribbed cottona lightweight waffle woven100 percent organic cotton or Mediterranean inspired Fouta linen.

All Parachute materials meet Oeko-Tex Certified Standard 100 guidelines, so textiles are tested for harmful substances, color fading and acidity to ensure the health of both factory workers and consumers. We also love that the company offers free carbon-neutral shipping, a 100-day trial, and 60-day returns if you're not in love with your bedding or towels.
