Big Brother favorites Pete Bennett and Glyn Wise have melted fans’ hearts by getting back together for the first time in ‘years’ on a partner date in Brighton.

The duo were on the 2006 series of the legendary reality TV show, eventually crowning Pete, now 40, the winner.

Pete and Glyn, 34, were hanging out on the shore, presumably enjoying England’s heat wave, and shared photos and videos of all the fun they had with their followers, including a visit to the Horror Hotel on the pier.

On Twitter, Glyn said: ‘Nothing better than meeting up with an old friend you haven’t seen in years!

I always love you @MrPeteBennett

‘Thank you for showing us around Brighton! #Nostalgia #BigBrother #bbuk’

The seventh season of Big Brother, in which Glyn and Pete appeared, was full of iconic moments, many with the pair.

Pete won the hearts of the nation by raising awareness of Tourette syndrome and through his romance with late star Nikki Grahame.

Meanwhile, Glyn made headlines with his hilarious one-liners, including: when he first learned to cook an eggand managed to turn it into a song.

Glyn has since exchanged the spotlight for the church and is preparing to become a priest after being ordained to the ordained ministry at the Church in Wales.

Talk about This morning earlier this year, Glyn said it felt like this was always the life he had to live, and admitted, “I prayed my way to Big Brother.”

He said, “I wanted something to completely change my life, and Big Brother did.”

His change of direction now follows his work as a lifeguard, radio DJ and English lesson in Southeast Asia.

Pete has held various jobs since leaving the former Channel 4, including acting in low-budget films and short films such as Crispy’s Curse.

He also talked about being homeless after spending his £100,000 Big Brother cash prize and become dependent on ketamine.
