Police are in a serious accident between a vehicle and a cyclist in central Hamilton (file photo).
Police are in a serious clash between trucks and cyclists in central Hamilton.
Emergency services arrived at the scene after 8 am at the intersection of Tristram Street and London Street.
Witnesses on the scene said the truck stopped just above Norton Road with a push bike under the wheels.
It was disjointed and everything was crumpled around the wheels. It looked as if the truck was dragging a bicycle.
“Police immediately obscured the area.”
Roads are closed and detours are in place.
The driver is asked to avoid the area.
Serious crash units are advised.
