Reference was made to the Prime Minister’s wife, Carrie Johnson, and designer Lulu Lytle’s expensive and controversial renovation of the Downing Street flat.
The tweet read: “Carrie frantically steams the gold wallpaper with the iron and packs it into an overnight bag.”
Likewise, another shows a movie scene with a couple arguing. ‘Boris’ says to ‘Carrie’, ‘I know you just got hooked, but we have to go. Now!” and “Carrie” replies, “I’m not leaving behind the 20th-century Italian red-painted, gilded, steel, and gilded four-poster bed. Wait a second…’
One said: ‘Boris resigns, this calls for toast’, with a photo of a Lurpak butter tub.
Another called horror film Jaws by portraying the cheerful mayor of Amity Island outside Downing Street.
Referring to when the mayor promised the beaches were safe before the killer shark struck again, the tweet read: ‘The cabinet is open and everyone is having a great time’.

A third jokingly quoted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who portrayed him as saying, ‘The point is Boris, you’ve visited a few times already’.
It referred to Mr Johnson’s previous visits to Kiev that have coincided with domestic criticism of the prime minister, leading to claims the trips were attempts to distract from the bad press.
Another meme droned on Johnson’s famous Brexit slogan saying ‘Get Exit Done’ over a photo of the prime minister walking out at number 10.
A fifth showed an illustration of the sinking Titanic and said: ‘Live scenes from Downing St’.

Again on the renovation of the Downing Street flat, another tweet famously featured a photo of the frenzied US evacuation of Saigon during the Vietnam War, saying, “Scenes from number 10 as Carrie Johnson flees with the wallpaper.”
A third on the subject said the Prime Minister could use the resignation letters he received to ‘wallpaper’ the flat in Downing Street.
Mr Javid announced his resignation last night in an incendiary letter to the Prime Minister, while Mr Sunak followed suit just minutes later with a similar broadband.
The Prime Minister appointed his Chief of Staff Steve Barclay to replace Mr Javid as Health Minister, while Education Minister Nadhim Zahawi was promoted to Chancellor.
It came after former top government official Lord McDonald of Salford issued a letter giving critics of the prime minister more ammunition over his appointment of alleged trooper Chris Pincher to the whips office.
Mr Sunak warned in his letter of resignation that ‘we cannot continue this way’ and said he would go despite accepting that his senior job may well be the last position he holds in government.

Nadhim Zahawi was in the middle of an interview on the BBC’s flagship Today program when he was informed that Children’s Minister Will Quince had joined the exodus, denouncing No10’s ‘inaccurate’ claims about Chris Pincher’s allegations.
When asked if it meant Mr Johnson is ‘over’, a gloomy-looking Mr Zahawi replied: ‘I am very sorry that colleagues are leaving the government.’
Schools minister Robin Walker is now stepping out with his former colleague and saying the government is “overshadowed by mistakes and questions of integrity”.
