Alex, 40, from Birmingham, said: “We are so proud of her. I found it difficult, but Daisy did it while wearing a prosthesis.

“It's such an achievement and we are so proud of her.”

Daisy has also modeled London, Paris And New York.

Demetre, who has an older sister, Ella, 15, now has 100,000 followers on Instagram and is also in the casting process for a Hollywood movie.

In the coming months she will also be fitted with a special robotic knee, which will give her more control over her movements.

Alex added: “She is excited that she is now old enough to get the robot knee. If you walked down the street behind her, you wouldn't know that she had two prosthetic legs, but her leg sticks out slightly to the side when she moves, which could ultimately affect her hips.

“So the robot knee will help with this. She will also be able to use a treadmill, which she loves for her fitness.

Ben Lovell, a double amputee who runs Amp Camp, which hosts weeklong camps Tenerife for amputees to build their confidence and fitness, said: “Daisy is the youngest double amputee to ever climb Snowdon.

“It's a great achievement.”
