WWE fans let their imagination run wild after a bizarre and cryptic vignette aired during Saturday night’s Money In The Bank program.

Many viewers wondered if Bray Wyatt was ready for a shock return, while others pointed to Hall of Famer Edge or Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson based on the flash in the whimsical video.

The ominous track featured a mysterious figure with flashes of religious images and references to stars from the Attitude era.

As well as a license plate with the words Latino Heat (a nod to Eddie Guerrero’s distinctive low riders), we also had what looked like Jeff Hardy’s bracelets and Bubba Ray Dudley’s glued glasses.

One telling moment also had a gold medal, which could have some meanings.

The overall presentation of the video was reminiscent of Bray’s early vignette build up to the Wyatt Family debut back in 2012, and most fans on social media were convinced he should be involved.

Of course, Bray was last seen in April 2021 in his sinister Firefly Fun House host character and The Fiend alter ego, before being released shockingly last summer.

He started working on his first film in November, but it’s not clear what his next moves in the wrestling industry will be – although a return to WWE fans will rejoice and make things really shake.

Another possibility – largely due to the medal – is Gable Steveson, who signed with the company after a great performance in Tokyo, although the overall package does not seem to fit.

One strong option is a change of focus for Edge, who used similar imagery during his run-up to The Judgment Day faction (and throughout his career as a whole).

In this case, the gold medal will be a nod to Kurt Angle, with everyone referred to – Angle, Guerrero, the Dudley and Hardy Boyz – former rivals of the Rated R Superstar.

At the moment, it’s unclear where these videos are going, but fans are already buzzing and it’s hard not to get excited about what’s coming.
