Three state governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, met Friday with Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi and Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu arrived in Port Harcourt, the state capital, for a closed-door meeting.
The meeting takes place in Wike’s private home.
This follows reports that Wike is saddened by the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
Wike is said to be mortified by Atiku Abubakar’s refusal to choose him as his vice presidential running mate.
