The hatching of Britney Spears‘ tell-all memoir has reportedly been delayed by a paper shortage.

Singer Britney was reportedly… writing a book without limits about her life after she was freed from controversial custody in November last year.

She is said to have struck a book deal worth about $15 million (£11 million), which would be one of the largest ever just behind Obama’s memoir.

According to Page Six at the time, Britney, who… recently married Sam Asgharihad struck a huge deal with Simon and Schuster after a ‘bidding war’ between several major publishing houses.

However, it is now reported that the memoir’s release date has been postponed due to a “paper shortage.”

According to TMZBritney’s book is all finished and ready to go – but for the little fact there isn’t enough paper to go around.

A delivery issue is reportedly delaying the project’s release, with a source telling the outlet that there is now no set date for the book to be released as it is unclear when the paper shortage will be resolved.

The source added that Britney and the publisher had initially planned for the book to be released in January.

Paper shortages have been hitting the US and the rest of the world for months, thanks to pandemic-related supply chain disruptions and people leaving their roles in factories.

It means fans will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on the all-encompassing memoir, but it will definitely be worth the wait.

Britney’s life has been in the spotlight since her teenage years, but there’s still plenty the public doesn’t know about.

In recent months, however, the star has started speaking out on social media against the way she was treated by her family.

The mother of two had called before younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears for her bookThings I Should Have Said, accusing her of selling her book at Britney’s expense.

Jamie Lynn later begged the Circus star to end their feudafter a back-and-forth on social media.

“Britney – Call me, I’ve often tried to talk to you directly and handle this privately like sisters should, but you still choose to do everything on a public platform,” she insisted.

“In the meantime, please stop telling the story that I haven’t been there for you or that I’m making things up.”
