Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has quietly added three new prepaid plans to its offerings. These are not the two monthly recharge prepaid plans that TelecomTalk reported on a few days back. There are three new separate plans with 18 days, 20 days and 65 days of validity. It is again more affordable than you will have to pay with the private telecommunications services, but they do not have the support of the 4G network that gets the plans of the private telecoms. Let’s dive into these new plans and see what they offer.
BSNL Three new prepaid plans that have been quietly introduced cost Rs 99, Rs 118 and Rs 319
The three new prepaid plans added by telco will cost users Rs 99, Rs 118 and Rs 319. The two new monthly recharge plans launched come for Rs 228 and Rs 239. This means that BSNL effectively has five new prepaid plans for the consumers.
BSNL’s new Rs 99 prepaid plan offers consumers unlimited voice calls with free PRBT for 18 days. There are no data or SMS benefits included with this one.
BSNL’s Rs 118 plan is valid for 20 days and provides 0.5 GB of daily data along with unlimited voice calls. The internet speed will be reduced to 40 Kbps after the consumption of daily data. Users will not also get SMS benefits with this plan, but they will get a free PRBT subscription.
Lastly, there is the 319 prepaid plan that will provide 10 GB of lump sum data to users with 300 SMSs in total and unlimited voice calls for 65 days. This is the kind of prepaid plan that you can recharge with if you do not have a lot of data and SMS needs, but you need at least a medium-term validity.
You can also take a look at the two monthly prepaid plans recently introduced by BSNL. As mentioned above, one costs Rs 228 and Rs 239. Both come with a monthly subscription and offer 2 GB of daily data, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS / day with gaming benefits. The only difference is that the Rs 239 plan gives users an extra balance of Rs 10 on their main account.
