CARDI B recently opened up to fans about why she dropped hints about Call of Duty, but no collaboration took place.
The world-famous rapper was seen wearing a diamond-studded necklace with the Duty operator, Ghost, in the video for her latest song Hot S**t.
The official Call of Duty Twitter account shared images of Cardi B wearing the necklace with the tweet: “Ghost so popping, don’t gotta be introduced.”
While the video came out in July, Cardi B was nowhere to be seen on Call of Duty.
However, it seems that a multi-million dollar collaboration was on the table, but which was canceled due to an appearance in court.
On Tuesday, September 28, the superstar tweeted: “Due to my stupid decisions in the past, I am now missing out on money.
“I had a multi-million dollar Call of Duty deal on the table that I couldn’t accept because of the court.
“Guys, think twice about those quick decisions! Lesson learned.”
On September 15, Cardi B had to go to court, where she pleaded guilty to two charges.
The first was third degree seizureand the second was reckless danger.
By pleading guilty, she admitted to paying a friend $5,000 (£470) to beat up two sisters who work as bartenders.
The incident happened in 2018, after one of the sisters was allegedly involved with Cardi’s husband, Offset.
Due to the plea deal, the rapper was sentenced to 15 days of community service and a three-year protection order.
This means that she is not allowed to have contact with the two women involved.
Although publisher Activision Blizzard did not cancel the partnership, Cardi B reportedly was unable to attend the Call of Duty shoot due to her appearance in court.
She tweeted: “I couldn’t come a few weeks ago because of the court.
“I couldn’t do the shoot in time.”
