CATHERINE Tyldesley is smiling after her first caravan holiday as a family of four.
The former Coronation Street star, 38, has just spent a “fantastic” week in Cornwall with her husband Tom Pitfield and their two children.
Catherine and Tom are parents to son Alfie, seven, and daughter Iriswho is just three months old.
The family stayed in a plush caravan and enjoyed trips to the coast, where they fished in rock pools and played on the sand.
This was Iris’ first holiday since her birth in April and Catherine can’t rave about it enough.
In addition to a series of gorgeous snaps, Catherine told her Instagram followers how her break brought back memories of her own childhood.
“Well! What a brilliant week we’ve had,” she wrote.
“Growing up we spent most of our holidays in caravans in the UK and I loved it.
“Alfie had wanted to go to a caravan for so long – and we finally got it!
“Cornwall, I fall more deeply in love with you every year. Every year we go on holiday with our besties ‘The Gees’ – the kids play so brilliantly together.
“Fun filled days @hendraholidays followed by relaxed evenings in the sun = perfection.
“I’m very passionate about Cornwall – I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve been there. If you haven’t been, you should!”
Catherine added: “A week full of fantastic memories.”
Fans scoured Catherine’s holiday photos and told her about their own caravanning holidays.

Catherine is best known for playing Eva Price in Coronation Street.
She was recently spotted looking completely unrecognizable while filming scenes for a mystery project in Manchester.
Catherine was dressed as older woman Olga Smith, a comedic character she has portrayed on social media before.
