Thirty-five people abducted in Keke B Millennium City, Chikun County, Kaduna State, have regained their freedom after three weeks in captivity.
Olasmediatv.com reported that on Monday evening, July 25, 2022, bandits stormed the community and kidnapped 36 residents, including children and nursing mothers.
The victims returned to the Keke B community on Friday, August 12, and were received by cheering neighbors.
It was gathered that one person is still in captivity because the bandits insisted that his family should buy two motorcycles before they release him.
A community leader, advocating anonymity, revealed that N2.5m was paid for their release.
