Chelsea could move for Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry after missing Raphinha.
The Blues have agreed a fee to sign the Leeds United star, but Raphinha has his sights set on a move to Barcelona with his agent Deco plans to push through a move to Camp Nou.
It has left Chelsea to explore other options and while the club is close to a deal for Manchester City‘s Raheem Sterling, they are eager to add another attack option.
According to The mailChelsea have now ‘tentatively inquired’ with Gnabry, whose future at Bayern is in doubt after rejecting a new contract from the German champions.
Gnabry spent five years at Arsenal before returning to Germany in 2016 and earning a move to Bayern Munich a year later.
The 26-year-old has had four impressive seasons at Bayern, scoring 17 goals last season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have already allowed Romelu Lukaku to leave the club this summer with AC Milan in talks over a deal to bring Hakim Ziyech to the club.
Chelsea are open to letting Ziyech leave this summer but want the Serie A giants to agree to a lease that includes the obligation to buy the winger.
The Blues are also determined to make reinforcements at the back with the club in talks to sign Nathan Ake from City.
