CHELSEA are reportedly considering a TRIPLE strike against Manchester City if they add Oleksandr Zinchenko to their transfer list.
A move for the 25-year-old is under investigation by the Blues along with teammates Raheem Sterling and Nathan Ake.
The Daily Mail reports that Chelsea is “excited” about the landing of Zinchenko, backed by new owner Todd Boehly.
But they face stiff competition from London rivals Arsenal and West Ham.
The Ukraine international had a good end to the season under Pep Guardiola, but Joao Cancelo remains City’s number 1 left-back.
Zinchenko has made 128 appearances since he came out of Ufa for a bargain £1.7million in 2016.
He has won four Premier League titles, four Carabao Cups and the FA Cup during his six seasons.
Zinchenko still has a contract of more than two years, which expires in June 2024.
And he won’t be cheap – Chelsea are “unsure” if they can afford all three City stars.
SunSport revealed that the Blues made their gambit to land Raheem Sterling.

The West London club are set to make a formal offer of around £50million.
And according to reports, Boehly has also requested a valuation for Ake.
The Blues are looking to bolster their defensive options with Ake following the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
Meanwhile, Chelsea is said to have been told that Declan Rice is NOT for sale.
West Ham are holding onto their whopping £150m asking price of the English midfielder.
The Hammers are determined not to sell the 23-year-old for anything less than mega value – that’s £50million more than Manchester City’s record British signing Jack Grealish.
