Chelsea are planning to make a sensational move for Manchester United star Jadon Sancho before the summer transfer window closes.

Sancho has buried the hatchet with Erik ten Hag following their high-profile split last season, which saw the winger dropped from the first team and loaned out to Borussia Dortmund.

Despite playing the entire pre-season, Sancho could still be sold before the end of the month.

Paris Saint-Germain have shown interest in the 24-year-old but there are now reports in Germany that Chelsea are ready to take the fight to them.

According to fussball.newsThe Blues are willing to offer a transfer fee plus two players from their youth academy.

Another proposal would see Chelsea offer to loan Sancho, paying his full salary, which is believed to be close to £300,000-a-week. That deal would also include an obligation to buy at the end of the season.

United have been linked with a move for Trevoh Chalobah in the pastwho is no longer in the first team at Stamford Bridge.

Sancho would like to join PSG if an offer comes this month.

The former Dortmund star played the entire pre-season for United and came on as a substitute in Saturday's Community Shield match against Manchester City, missing from 11 yards in the deciding penalty shootout.

Although he is among a number of players under consideration by United as they attempt to raise more money for incoming deals, Ten Hag has said relations between them are back on track.

“We had a good talk,” Ten Hag said in the summer. “Anyone can make a mistake. If the player thinks about it properly, you draw a line and move on.

“This club needs good players, and one thing is for sure: Jadon Sancho is a very good player. I hope we can still click and that he contributes to our success.”
