Mauricio Pochettino reportedly has little interest in replacement Graham Potter bee Chelseaas the former Tottenham manager holds out for the RealMadrid function.

Potter was shockingly fired on Sunday nightless than seven months after joining Chelsea from Brighton, a 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday left the Blues in the bottom half of the league table.

The search for his successor has begun with Julian Nagelsmann an early front-runner, and the former Bayern Munich boss is said to be Todd Boehly’s number 1 target.

While the 35-year-old is interested in taking the reins at Stamford Bridge, he is in no hurry to make a decision about his future after being sacked by Bayern just over a week ago.

Pochettino is the next favourite, who has been out of work since leaving PSG last summer and is loved by Chelsea.

Like Nagelsmann, the Argentinian is also heavily tipped to replace Antonio Conte at Tottenham Hotspur.

However, according to TYC Sports via talkSPORTPochettino will turn down any interest from the English clubs as he hopes to be appointed at Real Madrid if and when Carlo Ancelotti leaves.

While they can still win back-to-back Champions Leagues, Ancelotti’s future at Los Blancos looks very uncertain as they are 12 points behind arch rivals Barcelona in La Liga.

The Italian has also been heavily linked to the Brazil national team takeover, although he has reiterated that he will not leave Madrid until they have made it clear they want him to leave.

Pochettino has long been linked to Real and was tipped to leave Spurs twice during his five-year spell with the Lilywhites to join the Spanish giants.

Other names linked to Chelsea include ex-Spain boss Luis Enrique, Frankfurt’s Oliver Glasner and Sporting Lisbon’s Ruben Amorim.

In the meantime, Bruno Saltor will take charge of the Blues when they host Liverpool on Tuesday night.
