A WOMAN was raped following a shocking social media scam with a disturbing connection to a dramatic police standoff that ended with a suspect shot and killed.
Antoinette Rodgers’ horrific ordeal began after she was tagged in a Facebook post saying that she and five other women had won a free dinner and a free massage.

She scheduled the reservation for Tuesday, July 5, but said something wasn’t quite right when she arrived at Northaven’s home.
“He came in and started doing the massage. He started at the top, put the oil on it, but in my mind I think: this doesn’t feel like no [expletive] massage,” she told FOX13.
“This one [man] cant know how to get the joint and points.
Rodgers claimed the man groped her private area, causing her to immediately end the massage.
“I’m not afraid of anything, but I was afraid when I was in that house,” she said.
As she was getting dressed to leave, Rodgers said the man threw her down and raped her.
‘I’ll grab the towel. I wipe the front of me. He’s behind me. At that moment he grabbed the towel, both sides of it. He pushed me on the massage table and raped me.” she said.
After the attack, Rodgers immediately filed a rape package with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and shared her haunting story on social media.
“In my head I just think, ‘This man has made an appointment for me and he has five more ladies booked the same appointment,'” she said.
“You all need to do something before it’s too late.”
Officers arrived at the house on Monday, July 11 to issue an arrest warrant when shots were heard, setting up a barricade.
About 20 members of the sheriff’s office and negotiators surrounded the house in a four-hour stalemate that ended when the person was found dead inside the house.
Rodger has reportedly told the outlet the name of the man who attacked her, who reported it matches the name of a man accused of rape and living in the house where the standoff took place.
Police have not released the name of the suspect found dead in the home.
