MA fighter Conor McGregor has said he could have been killed after a car hit him from behind while he was cycling.
The Dublin native posted a photo of his bike on a stretch of road to his Instagram account.
McGregor said the driver couldn’t see him because he was blinded by the sun and was driving “straight (through) me” at full speed.
Thank goodness it wasn’t my time
In a video of a man being heard apologizing, McGregor said, “I could have been dead there, mate. That car is out to skim me, buddy.”
A clip also shows some of McGregor’s clothes torn and the mangled turquoise Orbea bicycle in the middle of the road.
He said training in wrestling and judo made him aware of how to land and saved his life.
“Thank you God“It was not my time,” he said.
