Coronation Street confirms 'truth' for Roy now that questions have been 'answered' | Soaps

A new Coronation Street spoiler video reveals the moment DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) asks Roy Cropper (David Neilson) for the truth behind his feud with Carla Barlow (Alison King).

In this week's epic episodes, Lauren Bolton's (Cait Fitton) killer is finally unmasked. after her disappearance at the end of February.

Since, Roy was the main suspect and was denied bail twicespent time at His Majesty's Pleasure prior to the trial date.

The residents of Weatherfield have, understandably, been desperate to free him and have gone on their own to find answers.

On tonight's episode (May 27), Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) was on her own warpath, and sets her sights on securing the arrest of vicious pedophile Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper)..

She found one of Lauren's hair bumps at number 8, went to the construction site Nathan is working on and planted it in his van.

However, he quickly caught her red-handed and Detective Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) assured her that his team was working around the clock to find the culprit.

Later, Daniel (Rob Mallard) told girlfriend Bethany (Lucy Fallon) that he saw Nathan being arrested, and the forensics team searched his van.

Is he responsible?

In tomorrow's episode, Detective Swain sits down with Roy and demands that he come clean about Carla and her cousin Bobby (Jack Carroll) perverting the course of justice.

Viewers of the ITV soap will remember that in a desperate bid to free Roy, Bobby concocted a story and lied to Swain that he had seen a man in a balaclava in Lauren's flat shortly after she went missing.

Carla was absolutely against it, but when he implicated her as an alibi, she was forced to agree to every detail – and with that Roy cut her off.

So far he has kept quiet about their plan, but will he tell the truth this time?
