It all came out after Aaron’s abusive father showed up at the garage and attacked him for stealing his weed and money.

He attacked Aaron when he got home, while Aaron fled to Summer.

But when Paul learned what was going on, he confronted Aaron for leading Summer astray and grabbed Aaron’s injured arm.

Aaron winced in pain, lunged, and punched Paul in the face.

Billy got to Paul in time to avoid reporting Paul to the police by convincing him to listen.

And when they got to the flat, Paul seemed receptive.

“Can you give us both a moment?” said Paul, sending Billy and Summer out of the room.

“Billy told me about your father – about drinking…

‘It sounds like you’ve had a rough time, believe me, I’ve been there. So for the sake of summer, I’m willing to take it literally on the chin.”

Aaron was overwhelmed and said, “Thank you. I promise nothing like this will ever happen again.”

But Paul had a condition and said to him, ‘It won’t be because you won’t be with her. Look, we all know how this ends and it isn’t happily ever after with Summer.

“As much as you have my sympathy, Summer can do better—much better.

“The best thing you can do is walk away before you both get any closer.

“She doesn’t need your drama, she’s had enough. If you really love her, you do the right thing and let her go.”

Viewers are sick of his controlling question.

One wrote: “Paul should still take his own advice and stay away from Summer himself, as he has beaten a few people in his day too”

A second said, “Wait a minute after Paul finds out Aaron is being abused by his father, he says Summer deserves better the same Paul who was also abused by a father figure, so does that mean Paul is no good for anyone?”

Another added: “Wow Paul was hard on Aaron and Summer will just hate him for telling him so”
