A few weeks ago, after the death of Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) in Coronation Street, his mother Saira returned to the cobblestones.

Understandably, she was devastated, but even more so because she’d lost her only surviving child after Rana’s devastating death.

As viewers know, Gary (Mikey North) was responsible for the roof of the Underworld collapsing, killing Rana.

He has never faced with the consequences of his actions, most of his neighbors still have no idea he was behind the roof tampering.

One person who was very suspicious of Gary’s involvement was Imran, so now that he’s dead any hope of the truth coming to light has been shattered – Gary got away with murder.

Despite the fact that this story is now definitely a thing of the past, Gary’s guilt didn’t stop it from resurfacing a few weeks ago, as Mikey North explained.

“We shot some scenes where Gary comes face to face with Imran’s mother and you saw the guilt. That shows the public that Gary still feels guilty for that. He was just trying to make some money to pay Rick back, I think, of all people, and unfortunately Rana died because of what he did.

“Now that Imran is out of the way, I think there are less people snooping on that side of things. I always say he has nine lives, he’s like a cat!’
