Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) and Aaron Sandford (James Craven) grow closer in upcoming episodes of Coronation Street, but their night will take a disturbing turn.
An episode of the ITV In the soap, which airs March 3, Amy and Aaron share a drunken kiss after an argument with Summer (Harriet Bibby).
Things are then taken to the bedroom, where Amy begins to undress, before admitting she feels sick and rolling away from him.
Despite this, Aaron continues to kiss her, before taking it one step further and making the decision to have sex with her.
Completely oblivious to what is happening, Amy won’t find out how far it went until the next day after waking up shocked by what happened.
Viewers will follow Amy’s journey as she struggles with her emotions and comes to the realization that she couldn’t agree and was raped, despite Aaron trying to convince her that they both wanted it.
In this new video, Amy helps Aaron with his clothes after they ended up covered in prosecco during their night out.
As the sexual chemistry grows, Amy and Aaron begin to kiss, unconscious things will soon change forever.
Coronation Street investigators have teamed up The school permit project, a charity founded in early 2015 that sends legally trained volunteers to schools to conduct workshops on the legal definition of sexual consent and major sex crimes.
