Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) is caught doing his part in the Bistro heist, according to a new Corrie spoiler video.
Despite having him involved in her plan in the first place, Debbie (Sue Devaney) can’t stop the truth from being revealed, while Nick, Leanne and Craig scour the CCTV.
While she tries to convince them it’s no use, they identify Ryan in the recording, leaving them both in an awkward position.
Ryan is quick to regret his actions, actor Ryan Prescott revealed.
“I think he’s very calm at first, but once it backfires and the police start asking questions, he immediately regrets what he’s done.
“The fact that Debbie was involved gives him a little bit of assurance. She’s a bit older and wiser, so he definitely doesn’t think she would have come up with something that isn’t going to work.”
However, Debbie chooses to keep quiet when Ryan is arrested, seemingly taking the blame.
One thing’s for sure: he certainly doesn’t share his mother’s happiness when it comes to failed bistro break-ins…
But why was Ryan so foolish as to agree to the idea in the first place?
“To him, no one was hurt. It’s a victimless crime and that’s the main appeal for Ryan. He doesn’t want to hurt anyone, it’s just an insurance claim.” Ryan Prescott explained.
“Ryan has already convinced himself that there is a chance for him to start a bar in Ibiza with some friends, if only he can come up with the money. So in that moment he tastes all that familiarity of the only other house he’s ever had, he manifests and he’s decided that this is his only way forward.”
Will Debbie become clear about her involvement in their plan, or will Ryan face the music alone?
