History seems to be repeating itself in Coronation Street as Gary Windass †Mikey North) realizes that Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson)’s life is in grave danger.
Viewers will recall that Rick was killed by Gary in self-defense a few years ago because the builder who became the owner of a furniture store thought the loan shark would endanger Sarah and Bethany’s lives.
Keep that in mind, because you’ll get some déjà vu when we tell you what to expect next week!
When Gary gets a text to let Kelly’s mom know she’s okay, he immediately realizes something isn’t right.
Meanwhile, a kidnapped Kelly listens in when Keiran tells Gary he wants the rest of Rick’s money and if not, he’ll never see Kelly again.
The next day Gary meets Keiran and Ross on a side street and hands them £24k.
Gary finds Kelly’s kidnapping site, breaks into the basement and reveals he’s put a tracking device in the money bag.
Just as Kelly and Gary are trying to escape, Keiran arrives, crowbar in hand.
A fight ensues and Kelly is shocked to see how far Gary is willing to go, but will he kill again?
“I think under those circumstances, as he himself said when he confessed to Kelly’s mother, he would do it again,” Mikey North told us recently.
‘He probably didn’t think he had much choice’ [killing Rick] and he did it to provide for his family. Under the same circumstances, I think he would do it again.’
